Rodrigo Ocanas Garcia, 32, had an unexpected death that his own son that was 5-years-old at that time got to watch.
Ocanas was a very successful person that had gone to the military and was a police officer in Montemorelos N.L. He had a girlfriend, Lucy Balderas, in Houston Texas and he secretly had another girlfriend in N.L., Maribel Martinez, that had his son a couple of years earlier.
When the women that had his son found out that he was living these two worlds, she was furious, and did the unexpected.
Jose Mata Hernandez was hired by Martinez on the December 6, 2006, to kill Ocanas.
When Ocanas went to some hunting ranch in N.L. with his girlfriend and their son he was seen talking to Hernandez and having a friendly conversation. When they got comfortable with each other Hernandez unexpectedly shot him in his back, putting the bullet right in his heart, ending his life.
The next day Hernandez was seen walking in the road with a shirt full of blood, not giving him time to hide. The police officers soon found him and put him straight to jail.
Even though Ocanas had a terrible death, his funeral was full with his love ones and his younger brother even composed a song for him that still plays on the radio in N.L. and he’ll never be forgotten.
